Bhangra is an energetic, folk dance and music form that originated from Punjab, India. Today, it’s the newest dance, music, and fitness phenomenon spreading all over the world. Bhangra has made its way to America’s Got Talent, the London Olympics, and even the White House.
Jhummer is a folk dance performed during the reaping season in Punjab. It is a living exhibition of the joy of men. The dance is for the most part performed by the ancestral Sikh (like Labanas) proficient stunt-devils and has yet not been acknowledged by all Punjabis. Initially, a Baluchi ancestral dance was conveyed to India by merchants. It has become a lot of a piece of Punjab society's legacy. It is a dance of elegant walk, in view of explicit Jhumar mood. The Jhummer is a dance of rapture. It is a living declaration of the joy of men. Any time is Jhummer time particularly during Melas, weddings, and other significant capacities and festivities. Performed only by men, it is a generally expected sight to see three ages - father, child, and grandson - moving altogether. There are three primary sorts of jhummer, every one of which has an alternate mindset and is hence fit to various events.
